HILLSBORO FORD POWERJAYS OF THE WEEK: MARCH 30-APRIL 6

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Sonya Zimmerman and Justin Morwood have been named as this week's Hillsboro Ford PowerJays of the Week for their performances this past week. This marks the second time Zimmerman has earned this award and the first time for Morwood.
 
HILLSBORO FORD FEMALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: SONYA ZIMMERMAN, WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
 
Sonya Zimmerman is a Senior from Valley Center, Kan.
 
Zimmerman had an outstanding performance this weekend at the Friends University Invite as she shattered her own school record in the women's 800m race for the second week in a row, recording a time of 2:17.10. This time earned her fourth place in the event.
 
HILLSBORO FORD MALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: JUSTIN MORWOOD, MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
 
Justin Morwood is a Senior from Austin, Texas.
 
Morwood made Tabor College history over the weekend at the Friends University Invite, becoming the first Bluejay athlete to compete in the 5k race walk, setting a school record.
