Madison Nelson and
Kalep Crane have been named as this week's Hillsboro Ford PowerJays of the Week for their performance during last week's slate of competition. This marks the first time Nelson has received this award and the seventh time for Crane.
HILLSBORO FORD FEMALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: MADISON NELSON, SOFTBALL
Madison Nelson is a Senior from Turlock, Calif.
In last week's action against UT Dallas, Nelson pitched a complete game in just her second outing as a Bluejay, throwing 105 pitches and facing 31 batters and striking out three. Nelson's efforts helped the Bluejays earn the series split with the Comets.
HILLSBORO FORD MALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: KALEP CRANE, MEN'S BASKETBALL
Kalep Crane is a Senior from Simsboro, La.
Crane continued to show his dominance as a scorer in the final two games of his Tabor career, scoring 30 points at Bethel and 29 points at Avila. Previously this season, Crane scored the 1,000
th point of his career and earned the No. 2 spot on the Tabor College All-Time Single-Game Scoring list with 46 points against Bethany. The final two contests of the season helped him bring his scoring total for the season to 590, an impressive scoring feat for a single season.
