Neve Mulrooney,
Wade Ratzlaff, and
Javin Schmidt have been named this week's Hillsboro Ford PowerJays of the Week for their performances in last week's action. This marks the first PowerJay of the Week recognition for all three athletes.
HILLSBORO FORD FEMALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: NEVE MULROONEY, WOMEN'S SOCCER
Neve Mulrooney is a Freshman from Luton, England.
Mulrooney tallied three impressive saves in the Lady Bluejays' draw with Southwestern on Saturday, bringing her save total to 36 on the season.
HILLSBORO FORD MALE POWERJAYS OF THE WEEK: WADE RATZLAFF & JAVIN SCHMIDT, MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Wade Ratzlaff is a Freshman from Enid, Okla. and
Javin Schmidt is a Freshman from Goessel, Kan.
Ratzlaff ran his personal best time of 28:46.6 in the Men's Open 8k race at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo., while Schmidt followed up with his personal best with a time of 30:27.0. Both athletes competed in a field consisting of NCAA Division I, and top NCAA Division II and NAIA Cross Country programs, while running at the same course set to host the 2024 NAIA Cross Country Championships later this fall.
