Graduate Assistant Kassidy Beam is entering her first season with the Tabor College Bluejays Women's Basketball team after completing a stellar career as a Bluejay.
PLAYING BACKGROUND
Beam was a four-year member of the Tabor College women's basketball team from 2021-2025 and completed her career as a four-year letter winner.
During her time at Tabor, Kassidy started 113 games for the Bluejays. She is the career three-point leader at Tabor with 205 made 3PT field goals during her tenure. Kass scored 922 points in 118 contests at Tabor and posted a career 3PT field goal percentages of 36.5%.
Kass was named KCAC Honorable Mention three times during her career (2025, 2024, 2023) as well as being named to the KCAC All-Freshman team in 2022.
Beam was also a three-time NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete.
Her duties with Tabor's program include working with the Varsity Reserve program, scouting, recruiting and helping coach the perimeter players.
"We are very excited to have Kass join our staff," said Tabor College Head Women's Basketball Coach Shawn Reed. "She (Kass) has been a huge part of our success during the past four years and we are thrilled to have her move into a coaching role. Kass will be able to impart what she learned during the past four years to our current team and that should be very valuable."
Coach Beam attended McPherson High School in McPherson, Kansas where she was part of a State Championship in 2018, and made three other State appearances in her tenure. Just a few of her honors included, Mid-America Classic All-Tournament Team in both 2020 and 2021, named First Team All-AVCTL Division III in 2020 and 2021, recognized as a finalist for the Sports in Kansas 5A Player of the Year, and earned a spot on the 4A and 5A Girls All-State First Team.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Beam earned a bachelor's in Communications and Sports Management from Tabor College in 2024 and she is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Management and Leadership from Tabor. She is engaged to Tristan Reed and they will be getting married July of 2026.
