Kassidy Beam and
Caleb Wehrmann have been named as this week's Hillsboro Ford PowerJays of the Week for their efforts during last week's action. This marks the first time either athlete has received this award.
HILLSBORO FORD FEMALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: KASSIDY BEAM, WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Kassidy Beam is a Graduate Student from McPherson, Kan.
Beam poured in 18 points in the Bluejays' win over rival McPherson and added 11 points in the win over York. In addition to her scoring numbers, Beam also snagged three steals against York.
HILLSBORO FORD MALE POWERJAY OF THE WEEK: CALEB WEHRMANN, MEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
Caleb Wehrmann is a Sophomore from Edwardsville, Kan.
Wehrmann demolished his own school record in the heptathlon at the WSU Multis meet last Wednesday, tallying 4184 points in the event, 500 more points than the previous record.
