HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Tabor College Cross Country opened up the 2026 season on Thursday night as they traveled to nearby Hutchinson, Kan. to compete in the Terry Masterson Twlight Classic.
Senior
Julianna Maxfield started her final season with a bang, taking 2
nd place with a time of 19:02, her best time on the course. Freshman
Harper Brickley also medaled, taking 14
th place with a time of 20:54. Junior
Daysha Allison recorded her best time on the course, running 21:44, good for 21
st overall. The Bluejay Women took 4
th place as a team.
On the men's side,
Ethan Tolbert (20
th, 23:19),
Ethan Thompson (21
st, 23:23), and
Gabriel Decker (22
nd, 23:30) all finished one after the other, putting together a nice pack.
Wade Ratzlaff recorded his best finish on the course with a time of 24:53, helping the Bluejay Men take home 5
th place.
The Bluejays will return to action on Friday, September 11
th as they head to Springfield, Mo. to compete in the Evangel University Invitational.
