HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Tabor College men's and women's golf teams are set to compete in the Early Spring Classic at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, Texas, as they look to build on their season and improve from their first tournament.
Following their season opener at the Friends University Spring Open, the Bluejays are eager for a fresh start. Head coach Mike Jamieson is confident his teams will show growth in Texas.
"I am confident that we will improve in Texas and come away with a better finish," Jamieson said. "Our preparation on Wednesday went really well, and I know everyone is excited to travel to Texas and put that first tournament behind us."
The men's team, led by seniors Luke Buckingham, Ty Peterson, and Ryan Hill, aims to bounce back with stronger performances, while the women's team, featuring senior Valencia Andov and freshmen Jade Loewen and Natalie Unsworth, continues to develop and gain valuable experience.
The Bluejays will tee off at Walnut Creek looking to make strides in their early-season play and build momentum for the remainder of their spring schedule.
