HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College Director of Athletics, Jeff Brewer has announced that Josh Jones has been named Associate Head Coach for the Tabor College Men's and Women's Golf programs.
 
Jones is no stranger to Tabor, arriving on campus in the fall of 2018 to finish his academic and baseball career after transferring from Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kan. Jones played three years in the Bluejay Baseball program under Head Coach Mark Standiford. Following graduation, Jones stayed at Tabor to earn his Master of Business Administration degree and serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Bluejay Baseball program.
 
Following his first stint at Tabor, Jones served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason City, Iowa for the 2022-23 schoolyear and added Assistant Director of Residential Life in addition to his coaching duties as he made the move to Coffeyville Community College in southeast Kansas for the 2023-24 schoolyear.
 
In the summer of 2024, Jones made the move back to Hillsboro to serve as a Resident Educator at Tabor as well as Intramural Director. In the fall, Jones began serving as one of the lead play-by-play broadcasters for the Bluejays, calling most home men's basketball and baseball games on Tabor Webcast, as well as on the Bluejay Network.

Originally from Wichita, Jones has developed a passion for the game of golf and is an avid golfer in his free time.
