HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Tabor College women's golf team is preparing for an exciting season, led by senior Valencia Andov and head coach Mike Jamieson. With a mix of veteran leadership and young talent, the Bluejays are focused on development and competing at a high level in conference play.
Andov, the lone senior on the team, is expected to play a crucial role in leading the squad this year. She had a standout performance last season, finishing top five in the conference, and will be looking to build on that success.
Joining Andov are freshmen Jade Loewen and Natalie Unsworth. With a focus on growth and improvement, the Bluejays are working hard to develop their young players and build a strong foundation for the program's future.
"Developing the freshmen that we have is a key part of this season," Jamieson said. "The team has been practicing since the beginning of the year, and putting in a lot of work as a group."
Tabor will kick off its spring season at Bruzzy's Spring Invitational on Monday, March 3, at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Okla.
