Coaching Style:

I am a coach who loves the idea of growing strengths while managing weaknesses. As a player, it is important to know how you are playing and to play to your strengths while managing the weakness of your game.

I am a strong believer in the mental game of golf, which is why a lot of our program ties in the mental aspect of golf training.

Motivation on the golf course is important for me to try to get each person to play the best they can for each shot.

What is special about athletics at Tabor:

Discipleship through success is a big part of the athletic program at Tabor College. Being successful in athletics helps grow our own faith as well as help each other grow in Christ as well. Tabor’s athletic program does it right!!

How do you integrate faith into coaching:

It is easy to lose faith in ones abilities on the golf course, which is why it is even more important to be strong in his or her faith in God. No matter how poorly he or she might be playing at any given time it is easier to stay motivated when their faith in God is strong.
