HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Women's Basketball is in familiar territory, preparing to host KCAC Tournament Semifinal action on Saturday against Sterling after downing Bethany on Thursday evening.
In 2021, the Bluejays accomplished the same feat, overcoming the Swedes and advancing to the Semifinal Round. That season, Tabor hosted Oklahoma Wesleyan following their win over Bethany. A meeting with Sterling awaited the Bluejays in the KCAC title game.
Alyvia Owens was a member of that 2021 squad and looks to help the Bluejays past the Warriors in yet another chapter in this heated rivalry.
The Tabor College Sports Information Department is showcasing former athletes and/or their respective teams throughout the 2024-25 school year in the new Flashback Friday series. The goal of this series is to bring recognition to the alumni that helped build the Bluejay Athletic Department into what it is today, as well as to create excitement for the current athletic programs here at Tabor.
