TABOR SEEKS ROAD SUCCESS IN CONFERENCE MEETING WITH YORK

YORK, Neb. – The Tabor College Lady Bluejays are set to hit the road for a highly anticipated matchup against the York University Panthers tomorrow in York, Neb. This game is expected to be a critical test for both teams as they look to gain ground in conference standings and build momentum heading deeper into the season.

Tabor enters the game with a record of 7-7 in conference play, coming off a performance against Kansas Wesleyan that resulted in a split series. The Bluejays have shown flashes of strong play throughout the season, and tomorrow's game will be a chance to prove their consistency on the road.

York, meanwhile, holds a KCAC record of 3-13. In their most recent outing, the Panthers faced Oklahoma Wesleyan, who currently leads the conference, and came away with two losses, giving them added motivation to protect their home turf and bounce back.

Several players are expected to be key contributors in this matchup. For Tabor, Cheyenne Washington has been a standout this season, bringing energy and production on the offensive side of the ball. Madison Nelson has also stepped up this season, making a huge impact for Tabor's pitching staff.

On the Panthers' side, Nevaeh Reed leads the way with a .418 batting average in 79 at bats, while Chloe Lockhart and Alex Harwell have both provided solid support for the Panther pitching staff.

This isn't the first time these two teams have squared off, and history suggests another tight battle could be on the horizon. In past meetings, the series has leaned in favor of Tabor, with their last matchup ending in a 17-5 and 18-0 sweep.

First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Ballpark Complex in York, Neb. Fans who can't make the trip can tune in via KCAC Network to catch the action live.
