NEWTON, Kan. – The Lady Bluejays opened the 2024-25 fall campaign by hosting the Women's Sand Creek Station Intercollegiate Invite at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton. Tabor represented one of seven programs competing in the tournament, as Baker, Central Christian, Dakota Wesleyan, Iowa Western Community College, Dakota Wesleyan, and Oklahoma Wesleyan made up the rest of the field.
Three Bluejays competed in the event, with
Valencia Andov leading the team with a 17
th place finish, shooting 34 over across three rounds.
Jade Loewen and
Natalie Unsworth finished 32
nd and 33
rd respectively with Loewen shooting 122 over across three rounds and Unsworth shooting 128 over.
The team returns to the links next Monday and Tuesday (September 16
th & 17
th) as they head to McPherson for the Central Kansas Classic hosted by Central Christian.
