Rylan Hincher shared his thoughts on the meet, "Great weekend for our crew. On the men's side we had multiple personal and season bests. Apostolo and Darren had huge 1500s while
Ryan Stade and Logan knocked huge chunks of time off their 10k personal bests. Ryan's time was good enough for a NAIA B standard and beat his previous school record by 42 seconds. Our women's crew had a huge day. Andrea, Kylie, and
Sonya Zimmerman had 800 personal bests. Hannah, Julianna, and Adelia had 1500 personal bests.
Adrienne Selzer ran 10k debut and crushed it! Kaylee and Brooke came away with 5k personal bests! Always feels great when there is a huge list of personal bests leaving the meet. Really glad that we took advantage of the opportunity to run fast in great weather!"
"It's amazing what calm winds and great weather can do. Really thankful that we could take advantage of the competitive meet Wichita State put together! Our team is in a great spot as we head into the final few weeks before KCACs!"
The Bluejays will head back to the track this weekend as they host the Tabor College Invitational on campus at Joel H. Wiens Stadium. The meet will start at 11am.
