HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College Track and Field opened up another exciting chapter on Saturday as the Bluejays hosted the reimagined Tabor College Invitational. Saturday marked the first time Tabor has hosted a home track meet since the spring of 2024.
The meet provided fantastic opportunities for the Bluejay athletes to continue earning top marks. Highlighting the meet was freshman
Koltyn Kaniper once again earning an event title in the Men's Javelin, throwing six NAIA national qualifying marks, five of which were NAIA "A" Standard marks, finishing by breaking the all-time KCAC record in the event with a throw of 68.14m (223'6").
Junior
D'myia Cox had a day of her own, winning the Women's Long Jump, the Women's Triple Jump, and the Women's 4x100m Relay, while
Xavier Lee notched an event title in the Men's 200m race.
