Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TUCSON, Ariz. – The Tabor College Bluejay Softball team closed their trip to Tucson out with a pair of games yesterday afternoon. The Bluejays had already played six games throughout the tournament and had gone 1-5 through the end of day three. Tabor would open up the day with a tilt against Concordia University Nebraska and would close out the tournament against Madonna University.
 
Game One
 
The Bluejay ladies would take on the Bulldogs of Concordia University Nebraska in the first game. The Bulldogs compete in the Great Plains Athletic Conference and came into the game fresh off a 7-0 win over Dickinson State University. The Bulldogs would score two runs in the 2^nd Inning, five in the 3^rd, and one in the 4^th to run rule the game in five innings. Marisa Carranza would record the loss in the circle for the Bluejays. The game would drop Tabor to 4-9 on the season. 
 
Game Two
 
Tabor would face Madonna University in their tournament finale. The Crusaders compete in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference and were coming off a win over Graceland University heading into the game. The Crusaders would blank the Bluejays 8-0 in five innings and Annabelle Buchanan would pick up another loss. With the loss, the Bluejay ladies drop to 4-10 on the season.
 
Tabor Softball will return to action as they return to Hillsboro for their home opening doubleheader next Tuesday, March 12 against McPherson College to open up KCAC play. The first pitch will be at 3pm.
