HILLSBORO, Kan. — The Tabor College softball team dropped a pair of competitive contests to Kansas Wesleyan on Tuesday, falling 2-0 in Game 1 before coming up just short in a 10-9 extra-inning battle in Game 2.

Game one unfolded as a pitcher's duel early, with both teams held scoreless through the first two innings.
Kansas Wesleyan broke through in the third inning, manufacturing a run to take a 1-0 lead. The Coyotes added an insurance run in the fourth, capitalizing on timely hitting to extend the advantage to 2-0.
