TABOR DROPS TWO ON THE ROAD AT AVILA

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Saturday turned out to be a beautiful afternoon for another KCAC softball doubleheader, as Tabor made the trip east to take on Avila.

  • With the loss, the Bluejays fall to 12-11 on the season and 4-3 in conference play
  • The game marked the 21st all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to 1990
  • Avila owns an 18-3 record in the all-time series

  • Reese Hefley led the team offensively, recording a triple for the Bluejays' lone extra base hit of the game
