MESQUITE, Texas – Bluejay Softball continued their trip to Texas on Friday with a pair of matchups against teams from the Sooner Athletic Conference and the HBCU Athletic Conference.

• With the win, Tabor improves to 2-1 on the season
• The game marks the 16^th all-time meeting between the two programs
• The all-time series is now tied at 8-8

 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Reagan Hammons and Khily Brower each recorded a team-high two RBIs
• Brower and Brea Grimsley recorded extra base hits, with Brower hitting a triple and Grimsley hitting a double
• Kailey Cross helped the Bluejays break the tie in the top of the 7^th inning, hitting an RBI single and sending Keeley Brewer in to score

• Hailey Kobler led the way offensively with three RBIs, while Savannah Evans, Harley McLaughlin, and Khily Brower each accounted for two RBIs
• Evans recorded a team-high four hits in the win
• Lilliana Alamillo threw two strikeouts to lead the team in the circle
