HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Women's Basketball will get just a bit of time to rest and gear up for the season's second installment of the Highway 56 Showdown between Tabor and McPherson on Wednesday after falling in a tight battle with Oklahoma Wesleyan on Monday afternoon.
LAST TIME OUT
- Fell on the road at Oklahoma Wesleyan on Monday, 59-56
- Lillie Veer led the team offensively with 14 points
- Megan Shafer recorded a career-high 10 points in the loss, finishing as the Bluejays' other scorer in double figures
- Anna Lambert recorded a career-high seven total rebounds (two offensive, five defensive)
- The Bluejays shot 51.2% (22-43) from the field, 23.1% (3-13) from downtown, and 69.2% (9-13) from the free throw line

- Last met on December 3rd in McPherson
- Tabor earned a dominant win over the Bulldogs on the road, 68-39
