HILLSBORO, Kan. – After a bye week and an opportunity for extra practice and rest, Bluejay Football prepared to host bitter rival Bethel in their Homecoming game and the 58
th edition of the Menno Bowl. Fans and alumni from all over the country made their way to Joel H. Wiens Stadium and they did not leave disappointed.

- With the win, Tabor improves to 3-4 overall and opens KCAC Kessinger Division play with a 1-0 record
- Saturday's game marked the 58th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the 1968 season
- Bethel currently owns a 31-27 record in the series
- Saturday marked the Bluejays' third straight win over the Threshers
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Ahmad Bailey looked solid under center, throwing for 150 yards, two touchdowns, and connecting on 13 of 22 passing attempts on the day
- Cameron Collier led the ground game for Tabor, recording 111 net rushing yards and finding the endzone once
- Bailey also recorded a rushing touchdown in the victory
- Devin Jones and Evan Saifman hauled in touchdown catches of their own
- A.J. King found the endzone on a 75-yard punt return
- Layne Clark showed progression in his kicking game, recording 344 kickoff yards and nailing a 42-yard field goal, his career best
- Sterling Gartin had himself a day on defense, recording eight total tackles and one tackle-for-loss (TFL)
- Xavian Michel, Darriene Gibbs, and Chris Vixama each forced a fumble, while Gartin made the lone fumble recovery for Tabor
- Zach Sandoval played ballhawk, picking off the Threshers for the Bluejays' only interception for the afternoon
