RESERVE MEN ROLL OVER TIGERS IN 5-2 ROUT

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Soccer fans in Hillsboro were in for a treat Tuesday evening as the Reserve Bluejay Men welcomed Central Christian's Reserve side to Joel H. Wiens Stadium.

If anyone expected the night to be slow, they would have been sorely mistaken as the Bluejays provided plenty of excitement. Five Tabor goals in the first half made for a memorable evening, with Luciano Liberona, Jesus Diaz, and Luke Hawkins each netting one goal, while Abe Friesen made a statement with two goals of his own.

Central Christian mounted a comeback attempt but fell short as the Bluejay Men rolled to a 5-2 decision.

"Great win from the guys, we played some really nice football at times and really showed how good we are. We slipped a bit at the start of the second half but overall, a very good team performance", reflected Co-Head Coach Rory Cameron.
