TAPIA'S BRACE GIVES BLUEJAYS A POSITIVE RESULT IN HIGH SCORING AFFAIR

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Monday evening provided an entertaining 90 minutes of footy as the developmental side from Kansas Wesleyan to take on the Reserve Bluejay men's side.

Every bit of the match was exciting, as the Bluejays saw five goals into the net and the Coyotes scored three of their own.

Cade Taylor, Abe Friesen, and Luciano Liberona each etched their names into the scorebook while Santino Tapia recorded a brace, netting two goals for Tabor.

"It was a great result for our reserve guys against a very good Kansas Wesleyan side", Reserve Head Coach Rory Cameron reflected. "Really proud of our work rate and the way we overcame the setbacks. There are a few improvements to be made, but cannot fault the work rate."

The Bluejay Men improve to 1-1-2 on the season with the 5-3 victory.

Tabor Reserve Men's Soccer returns to the pitch next Monday (September 16th) as they head north to take on Bethany in Lindsborg at 3pm.
