Box Score HILLSBORO, Kan. – The beautiful fall weather provided the perfect backdrop for Saturday's Senior Day matchup between the Lady Bluejays of Tabor College and the Lady Eagles of Avila University, with both teams aiming to strengthen their conference records. Following Wednesday's 1-nil victory against Bethany, Tabor looked to maintain their strong offensive performance in Saturday's match. Jami Dooley, who previously suffered an injury that would end her season early, kicked off the match for Tabor, making her final appearance on the field as a Lady Bluejay. Ochoa continued her offensive efforts in the second half, taking a shot at the goal only one minute into play. Avila scored their second goal shortly after, improving their lead and leaving Tabor still scoreless. Toward the end of the match,
Haven Deckinger took charge on offense, making a few attempts at the goal in hopes of improving the outcome, though without much success.
