NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Wednesday evening offered yet another conference test for the Lady Bluejays, as the squad made the short trek down to North Newton to take on bitter rival, Bethel in their mid-week action.
Tabor entered the match fresh off a tough road-trip to Ottawa on Saturday, being swept by the Braves, while Bethel came in looking to bounce back from their trip to Evangel over the weekend.
Despite a strong third set, the Bluejays couldn't find a way to stay in the game, falling in three sets.
Liana McGonigle (4),
Juliana Alaniz (4), and
Josephine Fuamatu (3) led the team in kills, while
Naera Tschus once again led the team in digs with 11.
The Lady Bluejays return home Saturday for an exciting Homecoming tilt as they welcome the Saint Mary Spires to town for a 5:30pm match.
