OTTAWA, Kan. - The Lady Bluejays squared off against the (RV) Ottawa University Braves on Saturday afternoon in a match that showcased their competitive spirit. The Bluejays kicked off the game with a strong performance, holding their own against the Braves in the first set and displaying impressive teamwork and skills. However, as the match progressed, the Bluejays encountered some challenges in the following sets.
Leading the charge for the Bluejays was
Naera Tschus, notching a team-high 12 digs and 2 aces during the contest. Her contributions were instrumental in propelling Tabor to a near victory in Set 1, where they fought valiantly, ultimately falling just short with a score of 24-26.
Despite the setback, the Bluejays quickly refocused their efforts as they set their sights on the next challenge: a match against the sixth ranked Threshers of Bethel College on Wednesday. Tabor currently holds the ninth position in the conference, with an overall record of 4-16 and a conference record of 2-3. The team is determined to regroup and showcase their skills in this pivotal matchup, eager to climb the standings and make a statement on the court.
