HILLSBORO, Kan. - Saturday afternoon, the Bluejays faced a true test against a talented Braves team. Despite trailing for much of the game, the men displayed remarkable determination, battling hard and persevering in their efforts to improve throughout the match.
Tabor faced a tough challenge breaking through Ottawa's well-organized defense, managing only three shots on goal compared to the relentless offensive pressure of the Braves, who fired 17 shots on target. Despite the disparity in opportunities, one of the key highlights for the Bluejays was the performance of goalkeeper Alejandro Hornado, who tallied five saves in the contest.
The Bluejays will look to fine-tune their performance and address key areas before their next home match on Wednesday. They'll face off against Bethel College, currently ranked third in the conference, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
