Sergio Gutierrez returns to Tabor for his final collegiate season.

Appeared in 18 of 54 games for Head Coach Mark Standiford and the Bluejays. 

Part of a Bluejay club that went 38-16 overall and 28-8 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), making a trip to the NAIA Opening Round Fayette Bracket Championship Game against eventual NAIA National Champions, Hope International (Calif.).

PRIOR TO TABOR

Butte College (Oroville, Calif.), Freshman & Sophomore
Played in 61 games for BC during 2020-2022. Was at-bat 135 times, hitting an avg of .341 with eight doubles, 1 triple, 46 homers, 23 RBI's, and 32 runs scored for his two seasons.  


High School: Oxnard High School


Personal
Son of Sergio Gutierrez and Luz Prieto. Has one sister (Bella). He graduated last spring with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is currently working on his MBA in neuroscience and trauma. Go-to snack is a Snickers. Favorite Baseball memory is getting a save in a a regional game in junior college to send us to the super regional . If he could have one superpower it would be to have super speed.
