Mikey Acosta concluded his collegiate baseball career in the spring of 2025.

Tabor College, Senior
Appeared in 37 varsity contests, recording 129 total at-bats, 34 hits, 34 RBIs, eight doubles, and four homers, ending his career with a .264 batting average. On the defensive side of things, he finished the 2025 season with a 1.000 fielding percentage and 70 total putouts.

Part of a Bluejay club that ended the season with a 32-21 overall record and a 21-15 record in KCAC play. 

Tabor College, Junior
Appeared in 38 of 54 games and made 21 starts for Head Coach Mark Standiford and the Bluejays, batting .341 with a .576 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage. Recorded 29 hits, 30 runs, eight doubles, four homers, and 26 RBIs in 85 at-bats. Walked 14 times, struck out 16 times, and stole nine bags. 

Part of a Bluejay club that went 38-16 overall and 28-8 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), making a trip to the NAIA Opening Round Fayette Bracket Championship Game.

PRIOR TO TABOR

Pratt Community College (Pratt, Kan.), Freshman & Sophomore
Played two seasons for Head Coach Todd Reller and the Beavers.

Appeared in 49 games in 2022, making 165 at-bats, recording 38 hits, seven doubles, four triples, and 23 RBIs. Scored 44 runs and hit six homers. Hit .230 with a .430 slugging percentage and a .332 on-base percentage. Walked 20 times and struck out 54 times, while snagging five bags. Part of a club that went 22-34.

Appeared in 53 games in 2023, making 171 plate appearances, recording 45 hits, seven doubles, three triples, and 21 RBIs. Scored 30 runs and one homer. Hit .263 with a .357 slugging percentage and a .362 on-base percentage. Part of a Beavers club that finished with an overall record of 25-33 and a 12-20 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play.

Texas Reds Post Grad (San Antonio, Texas), Prep School
Played a Post Grad season for Head Coach Michael Perez.

High School: Central Catholic High School (San Antonio, Texas)
Played for Head Coach Matt Flores at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas. Part of a CCHS Buttons club that went 24-5 his Senior year.

Personal
Son of Mike Acosta and Denise Vaquez. Has three sisters: Zoe, Gloria, and Cill. Majoring in Psychology. Favorite energy drink is NOS Energy. Go-to snack is gummy bears. Favorite Baseball memory is beating eventually NAIA National Champion Hope International (Calif.) in the NAIA Opening Round last season. If he could have one superpower it would be telekinesis.
