Biography

Sammie Saunders, the hometown native will be back for her second year. Previously beginning her collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College before transferring back to her hometown. Saunders received several high-level honors on the court in high school, as she was named to the KVA All-State 1st team and was a KVA All-Star. 

Saunders is the youngest of the family, with her older sister attending FHSU. Her family enjoys pets as they have 3 dogs and 10 cats. When asked about her favorite season she responded, “Among all the seasons, I really enjoy spring weather the most enjoyable.”
