Adrianne Zabel

Adrianne Zabel returns for her second year with the Bluejays. This is her third overall year of coaching volleyball. She began her playing career at Friends University then shortly after she transferred due to a knee injury to Fort Hays State University. She worked as a student assistant coach for one year. Adrianne graduated from FHSU with two bachelor's degrees, one in general studies with a concentration in psychology and child development. As well as a degree in early childhood education. Following her graduation, she worked as an official for local colleges and coached various teams through Rise Volleyball Club.  

She currently lives in Marion, with her husband Cody, and their dog Maverick. Her husband teaches industrial arts at Marion High School and also helps coach the middle school football team. They rescued their two-year-old lab mix from the Kansas Humane Society. Â
