Danny Zepeda comes to Tabor after a successful Junior College career in California.

Southwestern College (Chula Vista, Calif.) Freshman & Sophomore
Played two seasons at Southwestern College (Calif.) for Head Coach Jay Martel.

Played in 31 of 41 games as a Freshman in 2022. Hit .292 in 89 at-bats, recording 26 hits, one double, 16 RBIs, and scoring 11 runs. Posted a .377 on-base percentage and a .303 slugging percentage. Walked nine times and struck out nine times.

Part of a Jaguars club that went 24-17 overall and 15-10 in conference play, finishing second in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference during the regular season before falling to Los Angeles Valley College in the CCCAA State Southern California Regional Play-In Game.

Did not play in 2023.

Played in all 42 contests during his Sophomore campaign in 2024. Made 164 at-bats and recorded 61 hits, eight doubles, three triples, 26 RBIs, and scored 33 runs. Walked 18 times, struck out 13 times, and stole seven bags. Hit .372 with a .457 slugging percentage and a .460 on-base percentage.

Part of a Jaguars club that went 23-19 overall and 15-10 in PCAC play before ending their season in the CCCAA Southern California Regionals against Long Beach City College.

Prepped at Sweetwater High School for Head Coach Juan Romero. Part of a Red Devils squad that went 16-14 overall and 8-2 in the Metro South Bay League before falling in the CIF San Diego Section Division IV Baseball Tournament.

Personal
Majoring in Business. Go-to snack is Takis. Favorite Baseball memory is scoring a walk-off run his Freshman year of High School in his first varsity game. If he could have one superpower it would be to fly.
