BLUEJAY VOLLEYBALL SET TO COMPETE AT HASKELL INVITATIONAL

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Bluejay Volleyball returns to action on Friday evening as they are set to compete in the Haskell Invitational, hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University. The team has had plenty of time for rest and recovery after going 1-1 in Omaha last weekend. The Bluejays earned their first win of the season, dominating Graceland in a 3-0 sweep, while falling to the College of Saint Mary.
 
Tabor opens things up on Friday evening as they take on Philander Smith at 6:00pm. The Panthers enter the match against Tabor after opening the season 4-0. Prior to facing the Bluejays, Philander Smith is set to take on Southwestern earlier in the afternoon.
 
On Saturday, the Bluejays open with Cottey at 1:00pm. The Comets enter the match against Tabor with a 4-4 record, falling to Southwestern on Friday afternoon, 3-1.
 
The Bluejays close out the weekend with Haskell on Saturday at 6:00pm. The Fightin' Indians are 2-9 on the season and dropped their match with Sterling on Friday afternoon.
