NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Tabor College Soccer headed down to North Newton on Wednesday evening to take on rival Bethel, aiming to earn their second win in a row and second win in conference action.
Haven Deckinger found the back of the net twice to record a brace, scoring at the 44' mark and the 69' mark respectively. The Threshers were unable to find an answer and Tabor arrived back in Hillsboro with bragging rights in the rivalry win.
The Bluejays dominated offensively, recording 19 shots to Bethel's 10. Deckinger led the way offensively with all four of her shots being on target.
Neve Mulrooney recorded her second-straight clean-sheet, with three saves.
Tabor returns to action on Saturday to take on Ottawa at home. Kickoff is set for 5:00pm.
