WICHITA, Kan. – Friday night brought plenty of excitement as Tabor Women's Soccer traveled to Wichita to play host to Mount Marty in their final non-conference matchup of the fall. Friday's match marked the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Both sides played relatively even in the first half, while the Lancers dominated possession in the second stanza, taking eight shots. Mount Marty led both sides in total shots, 11-2.
Annaliese Weins and
Margaret Bates each recorded a shot on goal for Tabor.
On the defensive side of things,
Addyson Lomax had herself a night, recording seven saves in the scoreless draw.
The Bluejays are set to open up conference play on Wednesday as they play host to McPherson at 5:00pm.
