OLATHE, Kan. – Bluejay Volleyball opens their season on Tuesday evening as they head to Olathe to take on a strong MidAmerica Nazarene squad. Head Coach Adam Brewster could think of no better way than to start his third season at the helm than facing his sister, Molly Karagyaurov.
 
Fans know that this matchup is sure to be a thriller, as the two siblings have coached against each other in the previous two seasons. MNU has won both of the last two meetings, but they have had to earn their way out of Hillsboro as the Bluejays have taken a set from the Pioneers in each of the last two matches. To add to the fun, Brewster and Karagyaurov's younger sister, Abby Brewster has joined the Pioneers' coaching staff, adding yet another element to the sibling rivalry.
 
In last year's matchup, the Pioneers quickly took the first two sets, 25-9 and 25-6 respectively, before the Bluejays came roaring back to take Set Three, 25-19. Tabor showed promise in the fourth set, but ultimately fell, 25-16.
