HILLSBORO, Kan. – Coach
Adam Brewster returns for his third season at the helm of the Tabor College Volleyball program and looks to continue to make waves in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).
The 2025 season saw the Bluejays improve by four wins from the 2024 season, capitalized by a monumental Senior Day victory over then-5
th place Saint Mary.
A new season means changes, and following the graduation of
Liana McGonigle, a 2025 KCAC 2
nd Team All-Conference selection, Brewster knew that he would have to bring in a new group of heavy hitters to help boost his already talented lineup.
On the positive side, the Bluejays return a pair of senior leaders in
Annerieke Nederveen, a KCAC 3
rd Team All-Conference selection from a season ago, and
Josephine Fuamatu, who was a dangerous pin hitter/libero combo in her own right.
Joining those returners are a trio of international newcomers in Esther Nederveen, a junior transfer from the Netherlands, Janne Ramakers, a sophomore transfer from Minnesota North College-Rainy River, and Camila Mendes Toledo, a freshman from Italy.
Brewster has carried the philosophy of playing a tough schedule and he has doubled down on that this season, starting right off the bat with two NAIA National Tournament qualifiers in MidAmerica Nazarene and Columbia (Mo.), as well as strong contenders in Central Methodist (Mo.) and Mid-America Christian (Okla.).
