TABOR COLLEGE ATHLETIC SET TO HOST ANNUAL YEAR IN SPORTS AWARDS NIGHT ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22nd

HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Tabor College Athletic Department is set to host their annual Year in Sports program on Wednesday, April 22nd, in the Richert Auditorium on campus.
 
The evening provides an opportunity to showcase the athletic and academic accomplishments of Bluejay student-athletes, coaches, fans, and distinguished contributors to the department.
 
AWARDS
UNSUNG HERO AWARD:
This award is given to an individual who is not always in the headlines or receiving the awards on a weekly basis. It is an individual who is a key part of the team both on and off the field of play, putting in the work and serving others that many others might not see.
 
BREAKTHROUGH ATHLETE OF THE YEAR:
This award goes to someone who showed drastic improvement from last year to this year. These individual athletes stepped up their abilities and broke onto the scene with an incredible season.
 
FAN OF THE YEAR:
This award goes to an individual (or group of individuals) who have been instrumental in supporting our teams during their competitions.
