MISSOURI – Tabor College Baseball returned to a full slate of action on Friday as they traveled to southwest Missouri to compete in the Battle in the Hills tournament, hosted by Mission University and College of the Ozarks.

• With the win, the Bluejays improve to 1-6 on the season
• The game marks the third all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to 2014

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Cole Schieffer led the team offensively, recording five RBIs and two hits, while reaching the bases twice by way of walks
• Schieffer, Jared Mack, Easton Norris, and Jose Narvaez each recorded extra base hits
• Narvaez and Robert Diaz each found home plate three times, while Schieffer, Mack, and Kaison Overbey scored twice, and Eric Calder and Jack Kiser scored once
• Wyatt Bauer pitched a team-high seven strikeouts in the win
