KANSAS – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) announced their selections for this week's KCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Neve Mulrooney was named KCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts during last week's action.
 
Mulrooney had an excellent week for the Bluejay Women. She recorded a whopping 24 saves on the week, including four saves and her fourth straight clean sheet in Wednesday's win over York. On Saturday, Mulrooney recorded 20 saves against No. 24 Oklahoma Wesleyan, keeping the Bluejays in the match. Following Saturday's match, the junior from England currently sits fourth in the NAIA and first in the KCAC in save percentage, with a .917 save percentage on the season. She also now leads the KCAC and sits tied for eighth in the NAIA in shutouts, with five on the season, just one shutout away from second and four away from first.
 
This marks the second week in which Mulrooney has been named the KCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, and the second time overall this season she has earned the honor.

Mulrooney and the Bluejays are back in action on Wednesday as they head to Salina to take on Kansas Wesleyan at 5:00pm.
