BLUEJAY MEN LOOK TO BUILD ON SATURDAY'S WIN AS BETHANY COMES TO HILLSBORO ON WEDNESDAY

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Men's Basketball is back on the hardwood on Wednesday evening as Bethany comes to town for what should be another exciting battle in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) play. The contest marks the first meeting of the season between the two programs.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Opened the New Year with a 97-90 victory at home over Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday
  • Khalil Allen (24), Marque Wilkerson (22), and Jake Weaver (20) each poured in 20+ points in the win, with Allen and Weaver achieving career-high performances
  • Allen hauled in seven total boards (one offensive, six defensive), recorded one block, and snagged three steals
  • Weaver splashed three 3's, shooting 50% (3-6) from downtown
  • Kam Kaniper had an extraordinary night off the bench, adding 11 points of his own and bringing down the house with a series of massive dunks
 
LAST TIME AGAINST THE SWEDES
  • Last met on February 13th, 2025, in Hillsboro
  • Tabor won a thrilling down-to-the-wire overtime contest, 110-106
  • Former Bluejay guard Kalep Crane poured in 46 points, cementing his place in the No. 2 spot in single-game scoring in program history
  • Out of the returners, Jackson Baer and Kam Kaniper led the way for the Bluejays with 13 points, while Joe Hansen recorded four points for Bethany

  • Fell to Oklahoma Wesleyan in a two-point loss (83-81) at home on Saturday
  • Keddric Mays II currently leads Bethany in scoring with 17.6 points per game, while Curtis Stovall III averages 12.1 points per game
  • Jordan Reams led the offensive effort in Saturday's loss, while Daniel Bennett hauled in six rebounds, and Stovall dished out six assists
