TABOR MEN'S BASKETBALL LOOKS FORWARD TO REMATCH IN HIGHWAY 56 SHOWDOWN WITH MCPHERSON

HILLSBORO, Kan. – After a thrilling game against Oklahoma Wesleyan on Monday, Tabor College Men's Basketball is back in action on Wednesday as the Bluejays take on Highway 56 rival McPherson. Niieihii Blackbear's 29 points headlined a contest that was action-packed from start to finish, assuring that fans were on the edge of their seats throughout the night. If things hold the same, Wednesday should be just as thrilling.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Fell to Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville, Okla. on Monday in heartbreaking fashion, 78-76
  • Niieihii Blackbear led the Bluejays with 29 points, shooting a blistering 70.5% (12-17) from the field, while hauling in seven total rebounds (three offensive, four defensive)
  • Jake Weaver dominated the glass, hauling in 12 total rebounds, all on the defensive side of things
  • Jackson Baer (16) and Khalil Allen (15) also recorded double figures in the loss
  • The Bluejays shot 48.0% (24-50) from the field, 35.0% (7-20) from downtown, and 77.8% (21-27) from the charity stripe
  • Tabor led by as many as 12 points throughout the game, leading for the majority of the first half and into the second half

  • The Bulldogs won the first meeting in 1960, 71-62
