LADY BLUEJAYS LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK AS SOUTHWESTERN COMES TO HILLSBORO ON WEDNESDAY

HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Bluejay women return to action on Wednesday evening as Southwestern comes to town. Tabor has their sights set on returning to the win column after back-to-back one possession losses, while the Moundbuilders are still searching for their first victory in conference play.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Fell in a tight contest to Saint Mary at home, 55-53
  • Tayton Smith led the Bluejays in scoring with 14 points, while also leading the way on the boards, hauling in nine total rebounds (three offensive, six defensive)
  • The Bluejays shot 37.7% (20-53) from the field, 41.7% (5-12) from beyond the arc, and 80.0% from the charity stripe
 
LAST TIME AGAINST THE MOUNDBUILDERS
  • Last met on January 22nd in Winfield
  • Tabor came back to Hillsboro with a 22-point win, 66-44
  • Out of the returners, Lillie Veer recorded 13 points for the Bluejays
