STAGE SET FOR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED CLASH BETWEEN HIGHWAY 56 RIVALS AS TABOR TAKES ON MCPHERSON SATURDAY

MCPHERSON, Kan. – Saturday poses yet another exciting challenge for Tabor College Football, as they make the short trip to face Highway 56 rival McPherson in the 58th all-time meeting between the two programs. The Bluejays are coming off a narrow loss to No. 14 Southwestern last week, while the Bulldogs took down Bethel a week ago.

"McPherson is very well coached, they have a lot of resources, and their offensive and defensive lines are really good in my opinion", remarked Head Coach Mike Gardner. "They have some guys in the secondary that can really play"

"We have to communicate; they are going to do some things defensively that could cause us problems if we don't."

The Bluejay faithful got a taste of just how good this year's squad is last weekend against a top 15 team in the country, which makes this week's test that much more anticipated.

Kickoff is set for 6:00pm and the game will be broadcast live on the KCAC Network and live stats will be available as well.
