LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) has announced their selections for the 2025 NFCA NAIA All-Region teams. These teams include 150 student-athletes from 66 teams across the country.
Bluejay first baseman
Cheyenne Washington and shortstop
Darcy Gillen were named NFCA NAIA Region IV Second Team selections for their efforts during the 2025 campaign.
Washington led the team with a .407 batting average, recording 140 at-bats, 57 hits, 31 runs, and 56 runs across 43 total games. She also posted a .757 slugging percentage, a .444 on-base percentage, 106 total bases and four stolen bases on five attempts. She also landed second on the team with 11 doubles and led the Bluejays with 12 homers on the year.
Gillen finished second on the team with a .406 batting average, 56 hits, 46 RBIs, and 10 homers. She also recorded a team-best .761 slugging percentage, a team-best .452 on-base percentage and finished second on the squad with 105 total bases, while stealing seven bags on nine attempts.
The two served as leaders on a Bluejay squad that finished 23-20 overall and 14-12 in KCAC play.
