HILLSBORO, Kan. – TC Baseball is set to make the quick turnaround to return to Hillsboro to host the University of Saint Mary in the second game of the mid-week series between the two teams on Tuesday afternoon.
Last Time Out
- Dropped the season series to Avila, two games to one
- Won game one, 12-2, dropped games two and three, 4-2 and 17-13
- Garryn Plummer led the Bluejays offensively with six RBIs in the series
- Wyatt Bauer earned the win on the mound in the first game of the series
Last Time Against the Spires
- Last met on April 1st in Leavenworth
- TC won that meeting, 14-4
- Zachary Garner earned the win on the mound
- Micah Dvorak led the team offensively with three RBIs
Scouting the Spires
- 10-26 on the season
- 6-18 in KCAC play
- Swept by Kansas Wesleyan at home over the weekend
- Daniel Martinez leads the team with 19 RBIs on the season
- Martinez also boasts a .364 batting average as well as a .432 on-base percentage
- John Berislavich owns a 2.93 ERA, the lowest on the team
