TABOR TENNIS SET FOR HOME OPENER AGAINST JOHN BROWN UNIVERSITY

HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Tabor College men's and women's tennis teams are preparing for  their joint home opener on Friday, March 7, as they take on the John Brown University Golden Eagles. This marks an important test for the Bluejays as they near the end of their non-conference schedule and prepare for Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) play.

After a competitive matchup against Doane University, the Bluejays are eager to showcase their improvements in front of their home crowd. The men's team, looking to build momentum after a strong doubles performance against Doane, will aim for a bounce-back victory against a JBU squad that holds a 4-5 record. Meanwhile, the women's team continues to gain experience and develop as they face another formidable opponent, with the JBU women entering the match at 4-3.

"We are looking forward to playing our home opener on Friday against JBU," head coach Jeremy Nelson said. "They always put a great product out on the court, so this should be a great test for us as we wind down our non-conference schedule and look to head into KCAC play next week!"

With both teams eager to compete, Friday's matchup will provide an opportunity for the Bluejays to refine their game and build confidence heading into conference play.
