KING NAMED KCAC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR MONSTER OUTING AT BETHANY

KANSAS – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has released their KCAC Football Players of the Week for this past weekend. A.J. King has been named as this week's KCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Tabor's win at Bethany on Saturday.
 
King had an outstanding game on Saturday, recording 146 receiving yards on seven catches for an average of 20.9 yards per catch and scoring three receiving touchdowns. He had a longest reception of 56 yards and recorded five rushing yards on two carries. The other most important part of the weekend for King was a 92-yard punt return to the house for a touchdown, bringing his touchdown total to four on the day. In total, he recorded 115 punt return yards and 266 all-purpose yards.
 
This marks the first time King has received a KCAC Football Player of the Week award.
 
The Bluejays return to action on Saturday as they head to Avila for the 2025 season finale. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm.
