SALINA, Kan. – Bluejay Men's Basketball returned to action on Friday as they made the trip to take on Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.
KWU got out to a 48-29 lead at the halftime break, and despite the Bluejays' best efforts, the Coyotes went on to win by 28, 94-66.
Kalep Crane led the Bluejay offense with 22 points, while
Zach Hiebert followed with 14 and
James Shoenfelt flirted with double figures, finishing with eight points.
Crane and
Langston Taylor led the team on the glass, pulling down five boards apiece.
The Bluejays return to action on Wednesday as they head up to Lindsborg to take on the Bethany College Swedes at 8pm.
