BLUEJAYS LOSE FINAL MATCH OF THE SEASON

HILLSBORO, Kan.  -  The Tabor women's tennis team welcomed Evangel to Hillsboro looking to win their senior day, Evangel however would be the 6-1 victors on the day.

The doubles did not go well for the Bluejays as Evangel were able to take the clean sweep with Tabor only taking four games over both of the doubles matches.

The singles did not get much better for Tabor as Evangel was able to out on top. However Vitia Chacon was able to win her singles match in a pulsating match with the final score being 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-4). Tara Stewart was also able to take her match to a third set tiebreaker narrowly losing out.

"The women played a strong match but lost several close matches," said Head Coach John Ruder.

We would like to take this time to acknowledge senior Binita Sitoula from Kathmandu, Nepal. Thank you for your years of hard work and dedication to tennis and Tabor College.
